We are seeking a Social Media Editor based in Shanghai, to take responsibility for creating social media content for each of AFL brands’ social followers on Weibo, WeChat and Red. You will ensure that all content is consistent with the brand’s voice and that you work closely with our teams to curate this communication.
Taking a strategic approach, you will regularly analyse and report on metrics and data – sharing insight with our teams and taking initiative to maximise engagement, growth and revenue. It is crucial that you continually manage various tasks and changing priorities, adhering to deadlines and communicating accordingly.
You will work collaboratively with our global Marketing & PR Teams to further grow and develop our brands, and ultimately maximise engagement and conversion. Taking a proactive approach, you will contribute to your team’s KPI targets and goals, whilst also meeting or exceeding your own and contributing to an engaged team environment.
The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing our AFL brands’ day-to-day social media content, mainly on Weibo and WeChat;
Concepting, launching, managing and publishing/posting compelling daily content across aforementioned platforms;
Working with global marketing teams to contribute to our comprehensive social media strategy for our brands - in alignment with overarching marketing objectives and channels;
Assisting our Marketing Coordinator to plan and execute our daily, weekly, and monthly social editorial calendar;
Maintaining brand presence on existing social media networks, including content and visual updates as needed;
Directly engaging with followers, brand partners and others via social media platforms, fostering engagement and conversation;
Assisting with wholesale social media marketing as required e.g. tagging relevant stockists / supplying stockists with social imagery;
Recording social data/metrics, and assisting with analyzing and providing insights and best practices to then act on such information in order to further optimise channels;
Providing support on special projects for social, including working with influencers and other talent;
Overseeing and offering support on various aspects where social media is the key channel;
Linking all initiatives back to KPIs set for revenue, follower growth, reach, engagement, partnerships and content creation;
