We are searching for a Senior Marketing Executive to join our existing Marketing team based in our global Head Office. The role takes responsibility for all social marketing channels across our in-house labels and vertical retailer, BNKR. Leading the overarching marketing calendar, you will drive content conception through to communication.
Taking an analyitcal and strategic approach, you will regular report on various metrics and data - tabling initiatives for optimisation and growth. You will work collaboratively and to dynamic timelines in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Reporting in to our Global Marketing Manager and managing a team of two direct reports, you will contribute to setting and meeting your team’s KPI targets and goals, and take a 360 degree approach to management generally. Contributing to and fostering an engaged team environment, you will provide mentorship and development to junior staff and interns - as well as general personnel management.
The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Working closely with Global Marketing Manager to populate and drive marketing calendar for all labels and BNKR communication channels;
Providing strategic and innovative recommendations to upward management based on monitoring of current trend, market developments and data insights;
Working cross-functionally with all departments to communicate relevant messaging across all touch points;
Concepting new cross-channel marketing strategies and campaigns;
Generating ideas and overseeing initiation of ideas, copy and content for EDM, websites and blogs;
Developing and leading a comprehensive social media strategy across all labels and BNKR, working closely with Creative Department to concept and brief content;
Establishing KPIs for revenue, follower growth, reach, engagement, partnerships, content creation and the like;
Monitoring and analysing metrics to benchmark performance, provide actionable reporting and inform action and development to optimise;
Managing and allocating budget for content marketing - including but not limited to boosted social media posts;
Working closely with our PR Teams to develop aligned partnerships, events and collaborations and aligning execution on social - ensuring deliverables are met;
Updating, analysing and circulating channel performance scorecards;
Managing team of direct reports to optimise performance and output, leading meetings and ensuring contribution is of value with a respect to time;
Fostering team to develop commercial acumen, whilst maintaining appreciation for brand voice;
Providing support, guidance and problem-solving with teams, encouraging commercial interpretation of data and relevant reporting;
Managing team with regard to HR personnel issues, performance reviews, recruitment, onboarding and the like;
Working closely with People & Culture to lead the internship program within your department;
Strong experience in leading a team, and working in a collaborative environment.
Strong understanding of traditional marketing, brand voice and promoting cohesion across all channels.
An open-minded personality, a great sense of responsibility, entrepreneurial thinking and strong negotiation skills.
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
Superior time management and organizational skills, with an ability to plan and prioritise to tight deadlines.
Ability work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment, as well as to lead tasks with initiative and ownership.
Mentorship skills and an ability to train junior staff / interns.
Alignment with AFL culture, policies and personnel procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Tertiary qualification in Marketing.
Minimum of 5 years experience in an aligned content marketing position.
Experience in managing a team of direct reports.
Fashion industry experience (preferred).
