We are seeking an experienced and passionate Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Shanghai. This position has responsibility for developing and maintaining our network of Chinese influencers, building rapport and fostering relationships accordingly. The role also focuses on optimising our online marketing channels, working closely with local and global teams across PR, Marketing and Sales, aligning activity with and contributing to overarching strategy.
You will regularly analyse and report on metrics and data – sharing insight with our teams and taking initiative to maximise engagement, growth and revenue across digital channels. It is crucial that you continually manage various tasks and changing priorities, adhering to deadlines and communicating accordingly.
Taking a proactive approach, you will contribute to your team’s KPI targets and goals, whilst also meeting or exceeding your own and contributing to an engaged team environment.
The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing and optimising all Chinese online marketing channels (CRM, paid search, SEO, display, affiliate and social) for all AFL labels and BNKR;
Concepting, creating, monitoring performance of and optimising various digital campaigns, ads and ad sets across all AFL labels and BNKR - including to support wholesale;
Working with global digital marketing teams to align messaging and campaigns across channels - in alignment with overarching marketing objectives and strategy;
Working collaboratively with global teams to concept campaign ideas and strategy to maximise customer acquisition and retention;
Monitoring performance as against spend and allocated budgets to optimise ROI across channels;
Assisting with translation and localisation of onsite marketing and messaging;
Actively growing and maintaining relationships with network of partners, affiliates, KOLs, Daigous etc;
Tracking and thoroughly reporting on performance of all local digital marketing campaigns and channels - working with management to analsye, optimise and inform forward planning;
Overseeing and offering support to local team, including Social Media Editor, to ensure alignment with brand voice and strategy of all activity;
Linking all initiatives back to set KPIs, continually striving to exceed and supporting team to do the same;
Creative thinker who can brainstorm innovative ideas and strategies.

Familiarity with social media platforms especially Weibo and WeChat

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or Communications (preferred).
Minimum of 2 years industry experience in an aligned role.
Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
