INVENTORY MANAGER

The Role: The Inventory Manager is primarily responsible for the management of all physical movements and visibility of inventory within the company.  This role is also focused on ensuring efficiency of system company-wide – including training staff on associated policies and procedures.

In this role you will be primarily responsible for:

Inventory Management:

  • Perform Inventory Transactions in NetSuite and Glass as required for all Intercompany and Intracompany physical movements
  • Create IC PO/SO
  • Fulfil & invoice IC SO
  • Receive IC PO & create AP vendor bill, between entities
  • Develop, improve and document process and procedures with Business Systems Manager.
  • Assist with Physical Count / Inventory uploads and data management in NetSuite and Glass
  • Report & verify negative SOH
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Reconcile wholesale inventory against 3PL reports and retail inventory (3 stores and 2 online warehouses) to POS and 3PL
  • Ensure accuracy of valuation of inventory
  • Inventory cycle counts and adjustments
  • Report aged inventory and support business units to clearance
  • Receive disposition report from retail

PO / SO Management:

  • Maintain and Report on open PO's and SO's to support Customer Service Team
  • Report on variances
  • Fulfil SO's and create customer invoices as required

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in inventory / systems management
  • Tertiary qualification in business, operations or similar
  • Retail industry experience (preferred)
  • Understanding of the retail landscape
  • Proven ability to train staff
  • Proven ability to draft and implement policies and procedures 
  • Proficient understanding of systems, operations and maximising efficiency of use
  • Excellent strategic, time management, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
